Kesanitar's story begins in Krefeld, the industrial heart of Germany's North Rhine-Westphalia.

Our story is deeply entwined with the history of this region, a place long celebrated for its silk and precision engineering. It is here that Kesanitar was born, embracing the same German craftsmanship that demands perfection in both form and function. This legacy of excellence is infused into every product we make.

Founder

Heinrich Brunner, the founder, was both a visionary artist and a designer driven by practical philosophy. It was on a morning walk by the Rhine, observing water glide past stone and sunlight dance on the waves, that he felt a compelling need to translate this natural harmony into living spaces. This moment sparked his conviction: "A daily bath must be a ritual for the soul, not just a routine." So in 1985, he repurposed a closed textile mill into the first Kesanitar studio. The original steel and machinery stayed, but their purpose was transformed—from making sterile parts to creating vessels that echo with human feeling.
